Molly Mae

Molly Mae was our rambunctious black lab mix. She lived to be thirteen. She was given to us by that same neighbor when the neighbor found her running across a busy highway.  My wife said “you need to go look at that dog.” I responded: “why am I going to look at a dog, we have cats?” Well one hour later, Molly came home to live with us. She literally got me back out in the world enjoying life again after both parents had died, three weeks apart, due to cancer. Molly was my heart and then of course to make that sentence work, say if she had needed one, I would have i given her a kidney.
